Longarm day! :) Thoroughly enjoyed hanging out with my quilty friend, Denise. I did manage to finish up one quilt and got another one loaded and started. I'll finish that one tomorrow. All in all, a good day. It was nice motivator to know that Denise was stopping by. I wanted to have something to show her when she got here. It worked. Then we dropped off Chase's car to get the windows tinted, stopped for lunch with my sis and road tripped to a couple of quilting stores where I may have fallen in love with a new sewing machine. I don't think it's in my budget but I might be enamored enough with it to start saving for it. I've got a birthday coming up... hmmmmmmmmmmm.
That's a little corner of the piece I worked on today. Just a lot of loops. But they play off the fabric well and it actually looks quite cute if I do say so myself. :)
Tip of the day- While practice does not always make perfect, it usually does make proficient. I'm pretty sure that proficient is enough for me. Perfect is totally over-rated. Don't you think? :)

perfect makes boring =P
practicing is always fun like trying out different technics {sp}
