I was going to challenge myself with a little project of sorts for February. I thought about doing a scrapbook page a day for 28 days. Then I wondered if I remembered enough about scrapbooking to do 28 pages. I thought about sewing every day for the next 28 days and then I thought about last September and how I'd "been there. done that." I even thought about trying a DIFFERENT type of creative adventure every day for 28 days. Then I thought about how exhausting it might be to try and do 28 DIFFERENT things.
And so finally, I settled myself down and thought "hey, self! Why don't you just do SOMETHING creative every day for 28 days and document it?" Ah yes! Just right for me. So, for the next 28 days, I'm going to challenge me (and you if you'll join me!) to do SOMETHING creative every day. Maybe it'll be sewing, scrapbooking, crafting, baking, doodling... I don't know. JUST DO SOMETHING! :) I think we can do this. I think it'll make a difference in how we think and feel and respond to life. Creativity is a springboard to so many happy things and, I don't know about you, February can be one of those dreary months where we need a little bit of a push towards things that are happy and feel good in the midst of the wintery days. Will you join me? I hope you will. I've created a Flickr Group that you can add your pictures to. If you decide to join me there just might be a perk every now and then for playing along. I'm just sayin'... :)

I'm game... gonna try and work it in around my super heavy finial semester of nursing theory and clinicals! Need something to inspire me this February! Can't say I can do it everyday, especially hospital clinical days, but maybe saving lives will have to count those days - LOL! :)

I agree that Feb is my least favorite month of the year. But, I seem to fall on the opposite end of the spectrum. I need to aim for some days that I DON't feel the need to do something creative, to just rest. Funny eh?
